Ingredients

  • 4 large eggs
  • 2 tablespoons milk or cream
  • 1 tablespoon butter or oil
  • ½ cup shredded cheese (cheddar, mozzarella, or your choice)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Preparation

Prepare the Eggs:
  1. Crack the eggs into a bowl. Add the milk or cream, salt, and pepper. Whisk until well combined and slightly frothy.
Cook the Scrambled Eggs:
  1. Heat the butter or oil in a non-stick skillet over medium-low heat.
  2. Pour in the beaten eggs. Let them cook undisturbed for a few moments until the edges start to set.
  3. Gently stir the eggs with a spatula, pushing from the edges to the center. Continue to cook, stirring occasionally, until the eggs are mostly set but still slightly creamy.
  4. Remove from heat.
Shape the Smiley Face:
  1. Transfer the scrambled eggs to a plate, shaping them into a smiley face.
  2. Sprinkle shredded cheese over the top while the eggs are still warm. The cheese will melt slightly and adhere to the eggs.
Serve with a Smile:
  1. Serve the smiley face scrambled eggs immediately while the cheese is still slightly melted.
